Nipple Balm??

When I opened up my November Birchbox, my eyes went straight to a little tube called Nipple Balm.  Well, if I'm being honest my stomach eyes went straight to the full size chocolate bar but that's not the point.  What the heck was I going to do with nipple balm?  Birchbox always introduces me to products I would probably never buy on my own, and this month was no different!  Here's the breakdown and my reviews.

1) Ghiradelli Mint Chocolate bar- Honestly, they could have just sent me this alone and I would have been happy.  Birchbox knows the way to my heart.

2) Viva La Juicy Noir Perfume- I never wear perfume (thank you, allergies) so the samples always go straight to the trash.  I should have smelled it so I could give a review but I was too busy thinking about ripping open that chocolate bar.  Next time.

3) Color Club Nail Polish- This is a grey silvery color that I really like!  I haven't worn it yet but I'm sure I will soon.  It seems like a good color for the holidays.

4) It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product- I was sooo excited to see this because it has been on my "to buy" list.  I hope I'm not the only one that makes a list of products they want to try.  After using it a few times, I LOVE it!  Just spritz some on your wet, freshly washed hair and then comb through to distribute the product.  It actually does the 10 things it claims to do: 1. Repairs dry damaged hair. 2. Adds shine. 3. Smoothes and controls frizz. 4. Seals and protects hair color. 5. Detangles. 6. Prevents split ends. 7. Stops hair breakage. 8. Creates silkiness. 9. Enhances natural body. 10. Flat iron spray and thermal protector.

5) Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm- This is actually recommended for use on lips, cuticles and elbows unlike what the name suggests!  The texture reminds me of a combination of vaseline and Aquaphor.  I've used it on my lips and while it was nice, I didn't think it was anything special.

6) Supergoop Daily Correct CC Cream- This was my first CC cream I've tried (CC stands for color correcting) and I really liked it!  My favorite feature of the product was that the color adjusts to your skin tone.  This is really nice in the winter because I tend to use self tanner and my skin is usually a different "shade" each day as it fades.  I would definitely buy the full size of this.

What's the weirdest beauty product you've tried?

Ps. If you love beauty products like I do, join my Christmas giveaway!  I'm giving away my favorite lip gloss, lotion, nail polish and leave in conditioner among other things!

  1. My sister used the Leave-In product and I've used a couple other ones, but this one is on my "must-buy" list as well! The fact that everything in the box this month was full-size makes the $10 totally worth it!! I'm thinking of re-instating the membership i had last year....Great post!

  2. It's a 10 is amazing - I get the kind of keratin and it's one of the few products I'll actually spend money on! And I agree 100% with you on the nipple balm :P It was like really thick Vaseline.

    1. Okay good, I'm glad I am not the only one with a list! I have to say it makes giving my family Christmas ideas VERY easy! It's a 10 actually lived up to the hype which doesn't happen very often!

  5. LOL at the nipple balm! I probably would have thought the same thing! This seems like such a good box-- I've gone through two things of the it's a 10 leave in spray because I love it so much! And I think I will look into the CC creams! I've never done a subscription box but I'm thinking of starting one for next year and was inbetween birchbox and ipsy-- this one looks so good birchbox might win out :)
