Thankful Thursday Link Up 1/2

It's here!  The very first link up edition of Thankful Thursdays!  I am so excited to join with my 3 co-hosts, Mia at Make Me Up Mia, Kristal at The Strong Family and Carly at Carly Blogs Here, to bring you a weekly link up that helps us focus on the things we are thankful for.  It can be the big things, like your home and family, or something as small as your favorite movie being on TV or just a nice glass of wine after a long day.

There is no "right" way to participate in this link up.  We want to leave it totally up to you, therefore there are no traditional rules.  We would love it if you would follow us and link up to us, as that as how link ups really take off, but we don't want rules to get in the way of us just being thankful.  I plan on taking one picture a day of something I am grateful for..  This way I will be able to look back at the end of the year as a recap to all the wonderful small moments of 2014.  You can list things that happened over the week, take pictures, write a letter - whatever you want to do!

See previous Thankful Thursdays here and here.

Friday, December 27

Thankful for the end of a 2 day work week (that still felt so long) and a relaxing Friday night!

Saturday, December 28

In honor of the University of Michigan's bowl game - the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl - we headed to BWW for dinner.

Sunday, December 29

Thankful for lazy days in which I have absolutely nothing to do but make dinner!  Click HERE for my ravioli casserole.

Monday, December 30

Thankful to spend so much time with Nick on our little "Christmas break"!  We braved the 10 degree temps to do some shopping downtown.

Tuesday, December 31

Thankful for an amazing group of friends to ring in the New Year with!  Happy 2014!

Wednesday, January 1

We rooted on our Detroit Red Wings in the Winter Classic on a snowy Chicago New Years Day!  Sadly, they lost in a shoot out but it was still a really good game.

I hope you will all join this link up with myself and co-hosts!  We can't wait to join on this adventure with all of you!  Cheers to being thankful in 2014!

  3. I fell asleep during the last period of the game and woke up going, who won? LOL. I'm so ashamed. New Years got to me! Did you know the Hawks are playing at Soldier Field in February? Maybe March...but that'd be pretty cool to go to!
