Meal Monday: Meatless Recipes

So, I had a Bang Bang Shrimp recipe planned for today that I was super excited to share.  We made it for dinner on Thursday night and it was actually disgusting.  We didn't even eat the shrimp and ended up throwing it all away, major fail!  You win some, you lose some right?

Since Lent began last week, I thought I would share some of my meatless recipes for my Meal Monday.  Most of these recipes do not include any meat and there are a couple recipes in which I've provided a meat replacement.  I hope you love these meals as much as I do!

Chicken Fajitas -- replace the chicken with shrimp

Tortellini Soup -- replace sausage with mushroom and spinach

This makes me realize two things:  1) I love pasta and 2) I need a nice camera!  Happy Monday to you all :)

  17. I'm so proud of your devotion to cooking. I love to cook and am pretty decent at it but the prep and work. I just don't feel like it most nights. My new favorite thing is the nutribullet LOL. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I don't have a dishwasher? LOL www.wearflowersinyourhair.com

    1. Oh my gosh - no dishwasher would mean no cooking for me. I HATE doing the dishes so I just cram everything into my dishwasher!

  18. There's a restaurant chain around here that has special fish meals offered throughout Lent because they know so many people give up meat! And fajitas are definitely always a great choice for with or without-meat meals!
