Key Lime Pie Recipe

There are few things more refreshing than a slice of Key Lime Pie.  My grandparents used to live in Naples, Florida and whenever we would visit, we would have to stop at Rodes Restaurant for dinner and to pick up a few bottles of their famous key lime juice.  Our April spring break trip was the first time we've been to Naples in a few years so you can bet that we did some major stocking up on said juice!

My dad has made this pie for years and years but I had never attempted it myself.  Well, I made it yesterday and turns out it's one of the easiest dessert recipes ever!  I plan on serving it for Nick's birthday dinner I'm making for him tomorrow -- and probably for every potluck/dinner I have to attend this summer because it's just that easy and delicious!

Shopping List
-1 9" graham cracker crust
-1 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
-8 oz cool whip
-1/2 cup key lime juice (found in any grocery store)

Directions
1) Mix condensed milk with whip cream on medium speed until blended.
2) Add key lime juice to mixture and blend well.
3) Pour into graham cracker crust.
4) Refridgerate at least 8 hours before serving.

Ridiculously easy!  What's your go to summer dessert?

  4. That sounds delicious! I can't say I've ever even tried Key Lime pie, but I know my dad loves it, so maybe I'll make it for him or when I host a family BBQ.

  11. Yeaaaa this totally beats my mom's recipe, which requires that you juice 20+ key limes BY HAND. F that noise hah. Your version wins :)

  24. Key Limes pies are certainly one of the effortless desserts, but what they lack in complication, they make up for their delicious zest and refreshing tartness. Of course, anything with a no bake tag is a must-do! Hahaha! Thank you so much for sharing!
