A Little Bit Of Charleston

One of the best things I had while in Charleston was Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka.  And I had a lot of good stuff... foie grass, oysters, butterfinger cake... just to name a few.  But the vodka was my favorite and I was on a mission to find some when I got home to Chicago.  I knew I could count on my favorite beverage depot, Binny's to the rescue!  I picked up a bottle this week and my first drink was a recreation of the one I had at Pearlz Oyster Bar -- the sweet tea vodka mixed with lemonade and garnished with a lemon.  It was as delicious as I remembered it!

Firefly has lots of yummy recipes on their website that you can check out here.  I'm a sucker for mojito's so I can't wait to try this fun twist on one!

Mo-Tea-Oh

2.5 oz Sweet Tea Vodka
3 oz Club Soda
Mint Leaves
Lime Juice

Muddle mint leaves and lime juice in a tumbler glass.  Add ice and fill with sweet tea vodka and club soda.

Easy, tasty, refreshing... the perfect summer cocktail!  Now who wants to come over for a drink?!

  19. Gah these look dangerous. Trey banned me from sweet tea vodka the summer it first came out and I would go to "the dark side" as he called it hah. But maybe just one (or two) would be ok...?
