Chocolate Pie Recipe

The promised chocolate pie recipe is here!  This stuff is amazing.  I'm proud to say it was the first dessert gone at Thanksgiving last week (out of like ten) and multiple people were requesting the recipe.  Success.

I wish I had a better picture so you could really see it in all its glory... but I can't make this pie again just to take a picture of it because I'd eat the entire thing myself.  Probably in less than 48 hours.

Let me know if you try it yourself - it's the perfect Christmas dessert!  Enjoy :)

Shopping List
3 oz  Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/4 cup canned sweetened condensed milk
1 Oreo pie crust (store bought)
2 packages of Jello Chocolate Instant Pudding (the 3.9 oz boxes)
2 cups cold milk
1 8 oz tub of Cool Whip whipped topping (thawed)

Directions
1.  Melt Baker's Semi-Sweet chocolate in the microwave.  Mine took about 2 minutes (but my microwave sucks).

2.  In a mixing bowl, mix together melted chocolate and condensed milk.

3.  Pour into crust.

Layer 1

4.  Beat pudding mixes and milk with whisk for 2 minutes or until well combined.

5.  Spoon 1-1/2 cups over chocolate/condensed milk mixture.

 Layer 2

6.  Stir half the Cool Whip into remaining pudding.

7.  Spread the remaining mixture over pudding layer in crust.

Layer 3

8.  Top with remaining Cool Whip.

Layer 4

9.  Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
