Weekending: Thanksgiving

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!  Ours was great - filled with food, family, friends, shopping, and decorating.  The perfect long weekend to kick off of the holiday season!

I did a pretty terrible job taking pictures - besides 100 pictures of Brady but I'll spare you those ;)  Here are a few highlights from our Thanksgiving fun...

I made my famous chocolate pie and it was a huuuuge hit.  Recipe coming soon!

We took our first family selfie!

Brady was in heaven with all of the attention at Thanksgiving.  So many people and toys!

A Friday morning 4am wake up call - had to get in line at Home Depot so we could get a new Christmas tree! Afterwards we hit up Target, Macy's, Nordstrom, Sephora.. the usual suspects.  These babies were by far my favorite purchase of the day - maybe even of all year.

Two naps were called for on Friday after our early morning shopping excursion.  Ours weren't under the coffee table like this guy, though...

Watched a couple of movies- The Neighbors (terrible) and finally, The Fault In Our Stars (so good and totally lived up to the book).

Had lunch with some friends and introduced Brady to his new BFF, Martini.

And lastly, started decorating for Christmas.  I still have tons of stuff to buy before I'm done and then I'll do a whole post on my Christmas decor!  Can't wait!

Happy Monday!
