Can't Live Without Beauty Products

I realize this post title is a bit dramatic because technically, yes, I could live without these products.  But that is just not a world I want to live in.

While I'm a big fan of trying new beauty products - you never know when you're going to find your next must have, like my recent eyelash primer obsession - and tend to switch my beauty routine up with the seasons, there a few products that I always use and come back to.  Products that I keep backups of my backups.  Products I'd recommend to anyone.  And here they are...

La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream is my longest running beauty product love.  I've been using this stuff for six years now, all thanks to a dermatologist that saved my skin after a bad reaction to The Body Shop products in college.  It's perfect for my sensitive, dry skin and everyone that I've recommended it to sings its praises as well.

I don't think I've touched any of my other brow products since purchasing Benefit's Gimme Brow.  Perfect brows in less than 30 seconds?  Yes please.

Personally, I think primer is a must for everyone, every day.  I love Make Up For Ever's HD Microperfecting Primer in green as it balances out the redness in my skin.

You all know my obsession with Benefit's They're Real by now, right?

I use a few Kerastase products but this one is the one I can't live without.  The Bain Oleo-Relax is the best. shampoo. ever.  I've also heard Princess Kate uses it too so that in itself should sell you!

You won't have to worry about smudged, chipped, dull nails anymore with the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.  It does just what the name implies and also helps your polish stay on much longer than normal.

Have you tried any of these?  If there's one I'd have to recommend out of all the others, it would be the shampoo.  I'm obsessed.  It's really good stuff.  Let me know what your favorite must have product is below!

Ps. I feel like we should take a moment of silence for my lost Sephora VIB Rouge status.  So long red card, it was fun while it lasted.

  17. Well, I'm definitely looking into that facial cleanser - it sounds like we have similar skin, so I always am looking for a solid cleanser that won't make me break out. I haven't used the Seche Vite in years, but I may have to go back to that as well. Great picks, girl!

  20. Well now I want to try that shampoo (although my husband and wallet will not be happy. lol)! I like They're Real mascara as a top coat to my usual mascara for special occasions. It definitely adds great length! If I wear it alone my lashes are too spidery though. Thanks for sharing girl! Love posts like this. :)

  24. I lost my VIB status as well even though I have like 2000 points......I swear they change the rules and make it so much harder! I'm so glad you love that primer I am obsessed! Checking out that cleanser that description sounds exactly like my skin right now! Thanks for the recs girl!

  25. I need to check that top coat. All the top coats I use seem to make my polish too thick & ends up peeling sooner... defeats the purpose.

  26. I love They're Real! And I've tried the Brow Gel before and definitely need to purchase it for myself! Love your picks!

  31. Super intrigued by the primer! Do you put foundation over it and also powder? I think we have similar skin issues so share your secrets now, lady ;)

  32. I swear by Kerastase shampoo. It's definitely more expensive, but nothing leaves my hair looking and feeling as good!

  33. So glad you posted this! I've got some things I need to try now! ;)

  34. I love the Gimme Brow! I will never fill in my brows with a regular powder or pencil again! I'm glad to hear about the shampoo. I'm almost out and was thinking in the bath this morning that I need to find a good one!

  35. Haha I have a feeling that if I got to Rouge, I'd be gone pretty fast! I still want to try that primer, and you KNOW my love for the Gimme Brow :)

  36. Ok so I think you sold me on the Makeup Forever primer and I also want to try Keratese....but I'm pretty much in love with my Loreal mascara (basically the only drugstore item I still use). Is They're Real worth trying? I just don't know if I should tempt myself since I'm already such a fan of what I've got =) But I can be easily talked into things.....
