Green Juice

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  In the spirit of all things green, I bring you my favorite green juice recipe.  Drink it in place of green beer while you're at work today -- or use it as a detox for afterwards :)

INGREDIENTS
1 cucumber
2 apples
4 celery stalks
6 kale leaves
1/2 lemon

And because I'm a ginger freak, I like to add in a dash of that, too.  Just throw all of your washed, peeled produce in the juicer and voila!  Enjoy!

  1. Ooh I always love a new juice recipe, but celery is not my thing... Perhaps I will make a substitution. Zucchini is one of my favorite "green" vegetables to juice!

  16. This is a good alternative to all of the other green drinks that I see out there today (ex: green beer, and other green alcoholic beverages). Don't get me wrong, I would love to drink one, but I obviously cant right now haha!!
