Weekend Snaps

blue // pink

The weekend started off in the best possible way - shopping!  I picked up a couple of swimsuits and a new swing dress for our upcoming Florida vacation.

I held off for so long but I finally couldn't resist the Girl Scout charm while running errands on Saturday morning.  Which flavor is your favorite?   I'm all about the Thin Mints and honestly, they'll probably be gone by tonight - not good news for those new swimsuits.

Yep, we're still painting.  We gave our ceilings on the main floor a fresh coat of white paint and while it was not fun, it's amazing how much of a difference it has made.

And on Sunday, we needed coffee to tackle our first spring cleaning project - our closets.  Yikes.  Two garbage bags of trash and a few donation bags later, it feels so good to have that done.

Hope you're having a happy Monday!  I can't wait for The Bachelor finale tonight (team Whitney) and it's going to be 50 degrees here this week - hallelujah, we survived another winter :)

  2. Ohh loving those new bathing suits! So pretty! I managed to not get any Girl Scout cookies this year. Not really by choice but I never ran into anyone selling them, for the first year ever. Tagalongs are my favorite... now I want some! Happy Monday!

  10. Hooray for shopping! Love the suits that you picked out. I have a box of Thin Mints in the freezer so I'm less likely to eat the whole box (by myself) in one day ... so far, that seems to be working. :) Girl, I feel your pain on the painting - it seems like a never ending project these days. But fresh white ceilings are so worth it! Happy Monday!

  13. I definitely ate ALL THE THIN MINTS a few weeks ago... And thankfully haven't seen another Girl Scout since. I did hear the CEO speak and when she started handing out cookies for questions, I had to sit on my hands. Enjoy them while you have them and be thankful cookie time is once a year. ;)
