Friday's Five 4/3

Happy Friday!  It's been almost a month since I joined the Five on Friday linkup so let's get right to it:

ONE | Brady Update
In case you missed it on Instagram, Brady boy got neutered on Monday.  He was in so much pain that evening when we brought him home... I think we were awake almost the entire night, it was the saddest thing.  He's healing up really well now thankfully and getting back to his crazy self.  Honestly, I think the hardest part has been keeping him from running/jumping for 10 days - he's spending most of his time contained in his exercise pen, bored out of his mind.

TWO | Dining Room Chandelier
We decided on a chandelier!  The Mia Faceted-Crystal pendant should be here early next week and I think it's going to be the perfect addition to our dining room.

THREE | Mad Men
Is anyone else excited for the return of Mad Men on Sunday?!  I'm sad it's the final episodes but can't wait to see how they wrap the series up- I've always kind of hoped Don and Betty would get back together.

FOUR | The Husband's Secret
While we were in Florida, I read The Husband's Secret and loved it.  It was my second Liane Moriarty book (Big Little Lies was the first) and I'm ready to get my hands on another.

FIVE | Easter
And finally, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!  In case you're looking for some good eats, check out my Easter menu here :)

  7. The chandelier is gorgeous! And Brady is just the cutest -- Soph didn't seem to be in too much pain, but we couldn't get her to sit still! All over the place. Glad he's getting to feeling better. Happy Easter!

  11. Mad Men is how we're celebrating Easter - ha! But seriously, I'm so excited for the final episodes, too. It will be interesting to see how they wrap it all up. I'm glad to hear that Brady is on the mend - poor little guy! The day that we picked Finn up from the rescue also was the same day that he got neutered, but it didn't seem to affect him much - maybe because he was still quite young. Every dog is different! Have a wonderful weekend!

  19. Awwhh glad to hear Brady is feeling better!! I remember when our dog got spayed, we couldn't keep the cone on her and she ended up pulling out all of her stitches! Fortunately she'd already healed enough that it didn't matter because that girl did not slow down for a second. It was impossible trying to keep her from running, jumping etc. Love the chandelier!! Happy Easter :-)

  20. That chandelier is the prettiest thing ever!! Mad Men is one of the shows I definitely want to watch from the beginning one day! I'm reading What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty and I'm not THAT far in yet, but I'm not really that into it for some reason- which is annoying because it took like 3 months to get it from the library, haha. Did you like The Husband's Secret better than Big Little Lies?
