Friday Favorites

Happy May day!

This week really turned around after Monday - gorgeous weather, lots to do and plenty of progress on the house being made.  But best of all?  I found a half eaten box of Thin Mints in the back of our freezer.  Score.

We're sticking around home this weekend, hoping to get some work done on our yard and begin working on our powder room since the wallpaper has finally come in.  One of my good friends will also be in town on Saturday so I'm going to see her and of course, have a mint julep in honor of the Derby.  It's going to be a good one!

Before I go, a few of my favorite links from around the web this week...

+The Glitter Guide shares 5 tricks to make your eyes pop.
+A packing list for visiting Wine Country - one of my bucket list stops.
+Two of my favorite things in one drink: Champagne Mojitos.
+Cooking skills we should know before we turn 30 - lets just say, I have a lot to learn.
+This product claims to 'perfect your hair overnight'... yes, please.
+I desperately need a new pair of leggings - I think I'm going to try these Zella ones.
+A drool worthy recipe for chocolate fudge cake... made in the crockpot!

  10. Yay to finding Thin Mints!! Curious about how that mojito would taste, and I just read that cooking article. Definitely a good one. The only things that I haven't tried are making pulled pork, fish, and poaching an egg. I hope that you have a lovely weekend! :-)

  18. Are thin mints good frozen, or did you put them in there to hide them from yourself?? Lol (I definitely need to do that if it's the latter!) Those champagne mojitos look so good - perfect for upcoming Cinco de Mayo!
