Countdown to Christmas

We're here already, can you believe it?!?  The countdown to Christmas is officially on - 3 days to go.  The holiday cards are sent out, the cookies are baked, the presents are (almost) wrapped, and the Christmas movies and music are playing around the clock.  It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

TRADITIONS

Traditions are one of my favorite parts of the holidays.  It's been fun starting some of our own with Nick (fireplace sleepovers!) and keeping some of the old - like watching White Christmas every single year and attending a Christmas Eve candlelight service.  What's your favorite?

Hope this week is filled with magic!  I'll be back with a couple more fun posts before the big day, but enjoy the last minute shopping/wrapping/baking/traveling craziness!

  24. Holiday traditions are the best. Getting older and seeing some of those traditions we did as kids fade away, has been bitter sweet. I've bounced around between families and friends houses for Christmas these last few years, so hopefully over the next few years, things will settle down a bit and we'll be able to start hosting Christmas at our place. You start getting to that point where you crave tradition like you has as a kid. Sometimes there's just something secure and exciting in knowing what to expect on Christmas morning.
