Confessions

Happy Thursday!  One more day till the weekend, woop woop.  In case you haven't heard, my friend Jess over at The Newly has brought back a weekly confessions link up!  It's happening each Thursday, if you want to join.  They're some of my favorite posts to read (and write), so I highly suggest you do ;)  Here we go!

I confess that we have six boxes of cereal in our house right now and nothing makes me happier.  I wish I could blame it on being pregnant, but I've always been a cereal freak.  Favorites include Special K, Cinnamon Life and Reeses Puffs (but I never let myself buy them, ha)!

I confess that I recently picked this guy up and truly have no idea how to use it.  Will someone come teach me?  Or direct me to a good Youtube tutorial?

I confess that I'm constantly checking to see if this dress is back in stock.  The black and white, the sheer overlay, the side slits, the pleats - okay I'll stop now.  Love love love.

I confess that I still haven't watched any Fuller House episodes.  Must. Do. ASAP.  Can't wait for the throwback cheesiness and I'm already so excited to hear it's been renewed for another season.

I confess that we did our taxes last weekend and I cried.  I didn't even know it was possible to owe as much as we do.  Blahhhh.

I confess that my Shopbop order came in and I'm returning almost everything.  Such a bummer, but hey maybe good after the taxes fiasco?  Haha the one piece I'm keeping from my order is one I'm super excited about - this dress that I'll be wearing for my baby shower (in champagne)!  Check that off the list.  Wishing I would have seen this jacket last week because it's so cute.

I confess that despite my post yesterday, my email inbox is out of control.  It's on my to do list for this afternoon so don't be surprised if you get finally get multiple responses from me, sorry!

I confess that I forgot how much I love this stuff.  It's THE BEST hair deep conditioner.  A little on the pricey side, but so worth it.  They do have a sample size at Ulta now so you can try it before making the full commitment.

And that's all I've got for today.  Make sure to head over to The Newly and link up your confessions as well!

  2. I think we are twins...I have all those exact cereals in my house. Total cereal lovers over here. I also have this organic peanut butter kind that is a local brand. Another confession that my husband thinks is super weird, I mix cereals all the time :)

  5. Every time I'm at the grocery I think about buying Reeses Puffs, those things are so delicious! But I know I would eat them once and then feel too guilty to eat them again, lol. Bummer on your Shopbop order but I'm glad you found a dress for your shower! My first one is this weekend and finding a dress is such a struggle!

  8. Oh no!! The tax fiasco makes me want to cry for you :( That was me last year, and it was terrible!
I had the same experience with my ShopBop order and I was so depressed about it. What a fail!

  10. I've only seen the pilot of Fuller House; it's so good! But with a full DVR and no time, I'm not sure when I'll get to the whole season.

  11. Oh gosh... you made me nervous. We havent done our taxes yet & now I'm scared.
OH girl - get on the Fuller House thing - it is so much fun! Such a light hearted show. I literally laugh out loud at every episode.

  12. I don't know how I've still never tried that conditioner- it sounds so good! I watched the first episode of Fuller House and it was definitely cheesy, but really cute & I'm excited to watch more.

  13. I laughed when you mentioned your stock of cereal. We currently have 4 boxes and Reeses Puffs is the favorite. I've always loved cereal, but my love of it doubles when I'm pregnant. I feel like there definitely are worse things to be eating so I give myself a break on the cereal consumption :) Owing money on taxes is never fun - we were in your same boat for several years.

  17. Always love your confessions post! I think you will love Fuller House - it is MASSIVELY cheesy, but that's why we all love the original in the first place. Plus, at only 25 minutes an episode, you'll breeze through the season in no time.

  18. I finally finished fuller house the other day. I'm surprised it took me that long but I'm now ready for season DOS!

  19. Ohhh I love confessions I need to join next time for sure ;) WE HAVE THE SAME FAVORITE CEREALS!! It must just be something that reminds me of being a kid but I just love eating cereal. I'm the only one who eats it here though so I try not too often. I did just buy a huge box of lucky charms...but it's for something I'm making for Johns work. I'm really really tempted to open it. I hate taxes but for like the opposite reason, I've always (until now because I work for cash) set up my paychecks so I pay more taxes and I think that sucks because it's less $$ the rest of the year. But pretty much the only reason I got away with being unemployed for two months here was because we got our taxes back and it covered my life lol. Really, they suck either way you do it. Dumb. And what the hell, you better watch Fuller House RIGHT NOW! It really was pretty cute.

  22. Love love love your baby shower dress! We are huge cereal lovers too. Recently, I've been really liking cereal with half and half (super healthy, I know)! Haha.

  23. Oh my goodness you totally have to watch Fuller House! It's so fun - we just finished it last night. So glad it got renewed as a second season :)

  24. You have to watch Fuller House - the best! If I dress (or item) I like goes out of stock before I can order I get so upset and check literally every day! Ugh, taxes! We're always on an extension since it's a family business and I just cringe when they tell me how much we need to pay - the worst!

  25. Yes, Fuller House is soooo super cheesy but so worth it!! you'll love it if you're a fan of the original cheesy version!

  29. The first year we were married we owed a ridiculous amount. It's such a disappointment especially when everyone else is getting SO much back. Reese Puffs are probably my favorite!

  30. Girl, I cried too when we paid ours. We paid our taxes and then our A/C broke. Lots of tears shed. xo, Champagne&Suburbs
