30 Before 30

One month from today is my 28th birthday!  (And also my due date, ahhh!)  I can't believe I'm entering my late twenties - I literally feel like it was yesterday that I was using some random girls ID to sneak into a college bar for dollar beer Friday nights.  Time flies when you're having fun ;)  But anyway, I've seen my share of these 30 before 30 posts floating around blogland and thought it was finally time to do my own.  With a baby coming soon, I know that it's going to take over my life and change everything about it (in the best way), but I also want to make sure that I'm still doing things for myself.  Since I'm nothing if not OCD about crossing things off of lists, this is the perfect way to ensure that, ha!  So without further ado, my 30 things I'd like to accomplish before I turn 30...

1 Run a 5k
2 Take kid(s) to Disney World
3 Invest in a classic handbag
4 Print and organize my pictures
5 Take a cooking lesson
6 Go one month without shopping
7 Grow my blog to 1K followers on Bloglovin
8 Get pregnant again
9 Start my own business
10 Visit 5 new US states
11 Pay off our student loans
12 See a Broadway show
13 Watch the sunrise
14 Finish my home office
15 Try a pure barre class
16 Hold a Junior League leadership position
17 Visit New York City
18 Plant an herb/veggie garden
19 Start a One Line A Day journal
20 Read 50 books
21 Make a will
22 Really properly learn how to use my camera
23 Host an annual friends Christmas party
24 Leave a 100% tip
25 Keep up with the babies baby book
26 Go on a girls trip
27 Spend 24 hours completely unplugged from technology
28 Officially join a church
29 Meet a blogger friend in real life :)
30 Go camping

Do you have one of these lists or any sort of bucket list?  Wish me luck!  I've got 760 days to get to work!

  4. Love this list! You gave me several ideas to add to my list. I have a goals list for our first year of marriage, but I haven't made a countdown list to the big 3-0 yet. I turn 27 this year, so I have about 3 more years to work though it! ~Hannah (www.HannahAtHomeBlog.com)

  8. This is a great list, lady, and I love that almost everything is super attainable. I had no idea that you were interested in starting your own business! What are you thinking? And, you know I'm always game for a road trip or meet up one of these days. :)

  9. I love this list! I just turned 28 last month :) We have a lot of the same dreams... and I actually ordered a one line a day journal a few weeks ago! When I was shopping, I came across the couples one line a day journal, which I also ordered - and it's been super fun! You should check that one out, too.

  10. I need to make a bucket list... 50 will be creeping up on me in 6 years - a perfect time to start a list.
FYI - I started a one line journal & its now been 3 years since I've started it - I am so glad I started it when I did. Start it when you have the baby - what a good moment to start documenting memories :)

  12. Such a great list! Everything sounds attainable, and I'm sure you'll be well on your way to accomplishing them all! All the travel goals sound the most fun to me. Love exploring new places! Creating a will - SO IMPORATANT! People don't like to think about it or do it, but it's really essential after having children.

  18. Great list! I did one of these back in March for my birthday too. When it comes time to go to Disney email me and I can give you all the tips you'll ever need...I love to share my knowledge from working there for so long and doing VIP Tours :)

  19. Don't take your child to Disney in the next 2 years--they will be too little to remember or enjoy!! Especially if you have a girl and especially if you are planning to have other children. You only wAnt to go once!!! Super $$$$

    1. I don't know if I agree with that one!! ;) My parents took us probably like 15 times before we graduated high school and they are my best memories! I know they won't remember when they are SUPER little, but it's okay because it's half for me anyway, ha!

  28. Love your list! Better get busy, girl!:) I never made a 30 before 30 list, and with my big 3-0 less than a month away, doubt there's any point now, but I can say this: I have definitely accomplished at least a few things that would have been on it (some of them by accident - like 3 kids by 30, ha!) Can't believe you guys are so close to meeting your little gal now!!!:)
