Life Organization with Day Designer for Blue Sky

The best part about this third trimester of pregnancy (other than almost being finished!) is the "nesting".  It's a serious thing and I love it.  I've deep cleaned and organized every single room in my house - twice - and it feels soooo good.  It was like spring cleaning on steroids!  But now that that's done and I've still got 10 days left until my due date (and hopefully no longer, ha), I was on the hunt for another project I could throw myself into.

You guys know how much I love an old school planner, so of course that was the natural place to organize next.  New planners, calendars, pretty pens and washi tape?  Yes, please.  These are all Day Designer for Target products and aren't they seriously gorgeous?  I'm in love with the bright colors, clean lines and just anything floral and I'm sold.  Here are my favorite pieces and how I plan to use them!

Day Designer Today & To Do Weekly/Monthly Planner:  The rich navy color immediately drew me in, you would never guess that this planner was under $15.  I love the large size because it allows lots of room for writing all the things: to do lists, grocery lists, even a list of goals you would like to accomplish.  I plan on keeping this one on my desk in my office, it's perfect for keeping track of blogging tasks.

Day Designer Daily Planner: Again with the cuteness factor - blue and white stripes!  The small 5x8 size and being super lightweight is perfect for throwing in your bag and bringing everywhere with you.  This is a daily planner so there is a page for literally every day which I have never had in a planner before, but am going to LOVE.  It breaks down the day by hour (I'm thinking this will be great in helping me keep track of the babies feeding schedule!) and another column for to dos.  My favorite part though?  Each day has an inspiration quote and a place to write down your 'top three' of the day, love that.

Floral Pen: I'm weird and super picky about pens, but this one passes all the tests.  It's black ink and writes heavily, if that makes any sense.  It's got a really nice weight to it and of course the floral, duh.  How adorable are these pencils, too?  I've got mine set up in my favorite coffee mug (which is on sale right now for only $5!) on my desk.

Multicolored Washi Tape: Can you believe this is my first set of washi tape?!  I don't know why it has taken me so long to get on this bandwagon, but I'm hooked now!  After I took these pictures, I started using it everywhere, haha.  It's perfect to use as cute labels on things around the house.

Blue Sky Creamsicle Wall Calendar: We always have a wall calendar hanging in our kitchen.  Although I use my planner religiously, I like to also update our wall calendar with the most important stuff going on so Nick and I are on the same page with our schedules.  I love the large 15x12 size of this one as sometimes we can have a few things going on in one day and the writing can get too cramped to read!

You can shop all of these products online through Blue Sky or Target.  I know some Target stores are also carrying the products, but they always go fast.  Hope everyone had wonderful weekends!  Make sure to stop by tomorrow, I'm going to finally be sharing the nursery :)

  2. I love planners! I bought my first Emily Ley planner for this year, and while I think it is beautiful, I won't be buying another one because it is so big and bulky. I love the slimmer version of your planner! ~Hannah (www.HannahAtHomeBlog.com)

  5. I always like the idea of planners, and then I never use them. I'm much better at post it notes and lists with a monthly calendar to keep track of things. But I always gravitate towards planners, even though I know I won't use them effectively!

I love your planner! I'm still using my handy ban.do planner, but it's showing it's age. And yes I use washi tape allll the time! It's perfect!!
